The discovery begins when you touch down in the thriving metropolis of San José, surrounded by the verdant mountains and volcanoes of the Central Valley. Tortuguero

The adventure begins when you depart the hotel for a scenic drive through the seemingly impenetrable mountain rainforest of Braulio Carrillo National Park into the vast Caribbean Lowlands until reaching Caño Blanco River Dock. There you will board a Tortuga Lodge riverboat and embark on a fascinating guided journey up the Rio Parismina River to Tortuguero.
